Gum threaders

A floss threader carries dental floss under bridges, through fixed retainers, and around other dental work.

Its loop or stiffened end guides floss into spaces that ordinary floss cannot enter, allowing cleaning of gum-facing surfaces and supporting teeth.

Thread gently without snapping into the gum, then use a fresh floss section around each tooth. An interdental brush may suit a wider space.

Arrange care for persistent bleeding, pus, bad taste, recession, or a rough bridge edge, and never force a threader through a tight contact.
